Privacy Policy
Last updated October 19, 2026
This policy explains how The AI Edge Network ("we") handles information in Cue, a content scheduler for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, TikTok, X and Pinterest.
What Cue collects
- Account info: your name, email address and sign-in details.
- Connected accounts: the names, IDs and profile pictures of the YouTube channels, Instagram accounts, Facebook Pages, Threads accounts, TikTok accounts and X accounts you connect.
- Your content: videos, photos, captions, titles, notes and schedules you upload or write.
- Post stats: views, likes, comments and similar numbers for posts you publish through Cue.
- Comments (Inbox): on Creator, Studio, Founding Member and the free trial, Cue reads comments and replies on your YouTube, Instagram, Facebook Page and Threads posts — the commenter's name, profile picture when the platform provides it, the comment text and time, and the post it belongs to — and stores them so you can read, filter and reply in the Inbox. Replies, hides and likes you choose are sent to the platform as your account. Stored comments are deleted when you disconnect the account or delete your Cue account.
- Usage data: what features you use, AI credits, storage used and error logs, to run and improve the service.
How we use it
Only to schedule, publish, edit and report on your own content. We don't use your data for anything else.
YouTube
Cue uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Cue's use of YouTube data is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
What Cue accesses and stores, and why:
- Channel info (name, ID, profile picture, subscriber count) — to show which channel you're posting to.
- Videos and metadata you upload (title, description, tags, thumbnail, playlist, privacy, schedule) — to upload, schedule and publish your videos, and to show your existing uploads on your Calendar and Published pages.
- Video stats (views, likes, comments, watch time) — to show your results in Insights.
- Comments on your videos — so you can read and reply in the Inbox.
- Public trending data (public videos and channel stats) — for Topics & Trending, Watch party and Breakdown.
Revoking access: disconnect your channel in Cue › Settings › Connected accounts, or remove Cue in your Google security settings.
Retention: YouTube data is deleted within 30 days after you disconnect your channel or delete your Cue account. Stored YouTube data is refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days.
Requesting deletion: use our Data deletion page or email support@thecuehq.com.
Limited Use: Cue's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Instagram and Meta
When you connect an Instagram Professional account, Cue accesses your username, account ID, profile picture, account type, the media you publish through Cue, comments you post through Cue, and insights for your posts and account.
To remove Cue's access, open Instagram › Settings and activity › Website permissions › Apps and websites, then remove Cue. You can also disconnect the account in Cue under Settings › Connected accounts.
Facebook Pages
When you connect Facebook Pages, Cue reads and stores:
- Each Page's name, ID, category and profile picture, plus a Page access token (kept on our servers, never shown in your browser).
- Posts on the Page from the last 90 days, and the posts, photos, videos, Reels and Stories you publish through Cue.
- Insights for those posts (reach, reactions, comments, shares, video views) and the Page's daily follower count.
- The comment you choose to post as a first comment, and the permissions you granted, so Cue knows whether it can post comments.
Cue doesn't support personal Facebook profiles and doesn't read your friends, messages or personal profile posts.
To remove this data: disconnect the Page in Cue under Settings › Connected accounts, or open Facebook › Settings and privacy › Settings › Business integrations (or Apps and websites) and remove Cue. When you remove Cue in Facebook, Meta tells us and we delete your connected Pages, their tokens, stats and posts imported from Facebook.
Threads
When you connect a Threads account, Cue reads and stores:
- Your Threads username, account ID and profile picture, plus an access token (kept on our servers, never shown in your browser).
- Your Threads posts from the last 90 days, and the posts, replies and threads you publish through Cue.
- Insights for those posts (views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes) and your daily follower count.
- Your recent posting usage, so Cue can respect Threads' publishing limits.
To remove this data: disconnect the account in Cue under Settings › Connected accounts, or open Threads › Settings › Account › Website permissions and remove Cue. When you remove Cue in Threads, Meta tells us and we delete your Threads account, its token, stats and posts imported from Threads.
TikTok
When you connect a TikTok account, Cue reads and stores:
- Your TikTok username, display name, account ID and profile picture, plus access and refresh tokens (kept on our servers, never shown in your browser).
- Your TikTok videos from the last 90 days, and the videos and photo posts you publish through Cue.
- Stats for those posts (views, likes, comments, shares) and your daily follower count.
- The posting options TikTok allows for your account (who can see posts, comments, Duet and Stitch), checked each time you post.
Cue sends your video or photos to TikTok only when you schedule or publish a post. To remove this data: disconnect the account in Cue under Settings › Connected accounts, or open TikTok › Settings and privacy › Security › Apps and services (or Manage app permissions) and remove Cue. When you remove Cue in TikTok, TikTok tells us and we delete your TikTok account, its tokens, stats and posts imported from TikTok.
X (Twitter)
When you connect an X account, Cue reads and stores:
- Your X username, account ID and profile picture, plus access and refresh tokens (kept on our servers, never shown in your browser).
- The posts, threads and replies you publish through Cue. Cue does not import posts you made outside Cue.
- Stats for posts made with Cue (views, likes, reposts, replies, quotes), fetched twice: 24 hours and 7 days after posting.
Cue sends your text and media to X only when you schedule or publish a post. To remove this data: disconnect the account in Cue under Settings › Connected accounts, or open X › Settings and privacy › Security and account access › Apps and sessions › Connected apps and revoke Cue. When access is revoked, we delete your X account, its tokens and stats from Cue.
When you connect Pinterest, Cue reads your account username, ID and profile image, and your board IDs and names so you can choose where to publish. Cue stores access and refresh tokens on its servers, never in your browser.
Cue sends the image or video, title, description, destination link and alt text you choose only when you schedule or publish a Pin. It reads saves, Pin clicks, outbound clicks and impressions for Pins published through Cue to show Insights. Cue does not import Pins made outside Cue or read private messages.
Disconnect in Cue › Settings › Connected accounts to remove the stored connection and tokens. You can also revoke Cue under Pinterest › Settings › Security and logins › Apps. Disconnecting prevents future publishing; it does not delete Pins already on Pinterest. To delete your stored Cue content and reporting data, delete your Cue account or contact support@thecuehq.com.
Security
Access tokens for your connected accounts are stored encrypted on our servers and are never shown in your browser, shared or sold. We don't sell any data, and we don't use your data for advertising.
AI features
Captions, titles, notes and other text are sent to our AI provider only when you click an AI button (such as Write with AI or a summary). Nothing is sent automatically.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. YouTube data is refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days, and deleted within 30 days after you disconnect YouTube.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time. You can delete your account yourself in Settings › Account. For anything else, email support@thecuehq.com.
